Alaina Burran

Certified Physician Assistant

Alaina Burran, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In 2009, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University-Macon in Foreign Languages with a concentration in Spanish, and minors in Biology and Chemistry. Alaina then furthered her education by attaining a Master of Medical Science degree as a Physician Assistant, graduating in 2012 Magna Cum Laude from Mercer University-Atlanta.

Throughout her years of schooling, Alaina gained experience in all fields of medicine but especially excelled in the area of Dermatology, which she chose to focus on in her career. Outside of practice, she serves on the NCCPA Pilot examination board and continues to be an active member of multiple organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Assistants.

Alaina resides with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in addition to volunteering at her children’s elementary school as a member of the Parent Teacher Association.
